Zoro vs Fujitora Raw Clip

Zoro vs Fujitora: A Hypothetical Showdown

The world of One Piece is filled with legendary battles, and one matchup that fans have long speculated about is Roronoa Zoro vs Admiral Fujitora (Issho). While they briefly clashed during the Dressrosa arc, a full-fledged fight between the Straw Hat swordsman and the blind gravity-wielding admiral never happened. However, imagining this fight in-depth reveals not only the sheer power of both characters but also their deeply contrasting philosophies and fighting styles.

Character Overview

Roronoa Zoro is the Straw Hat Pirates’ swordsman and Luffy’s right-hand man. Known for his three-sword style (Santoryu), Zoro combines brute strength, swordsmanship mastery, and an indomitable will. By the time of Wano, Zoro has become one of the most fearsome fighters in the world, especially after gaining Enma — the sword once wielded by Kozuki Oden. His use of advanced Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki) and Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror’s Haki) coating puts him in the upper echelon of the New World.

Fujitora, or Admiral Issho, is a Marine admiral introduced in the Dressrosa arc. Despite being blind, his battle prowess is overwhelming. His Devil Fruit power — the Zushi Zushi no Mi — gives him control over gravity, allowing him to bring down meteors, create crushing gravitational forces, and manipulate the battlefield itself. Fujitora is a man of deep conviction and justice, having blinded himself to avoid ever judging people based on appearances. Unlike many in the World Government, he shows compassion and is willing to admit when the system is wrong.

The Battle: Philosophy and Power

A fight between Zoro and Fujitora would be much more than flashy sword strikes and gravitational destruction. It would be a clash of ideals.

Zoro fights for his captain’s dream, striving to be the world’s greatest swordsman. His loyalty and unwavering resolve make him a dangerous opponent, especially when someone stands in Luffy’s way. Fujitora, on the other hand, believes in a moral justice above blind obedience. His compassion may hold him back at times, but his immense power never falters.

In a full-scale fight, Fujitora would likely open with a gravity wave, pinning Zoro to the ground and testing his strength. However, Zoro’s immense physical endurance and haki would allow him to resist this pressure. As seen in Wano, he was able to move under King’s enormous speed and strength — even while fighting after tanking multiple powerful blows.

Zoro would respond with ranged slashes like “Flying Dragon Blaze” or “Sanzen Sekai”, slicing through Fujitora’s gravitational attacks. But Fujitora’s swordsmanship shouldn’t be underestimated. Though he wields his sword like a cane, his attacks have incredible force, especially when combined with gravity. A close-range duel would be intense — Zoro’s raw power against Fujitora’s precision and gravity manipulation.

Gravity vs Haki

Zoro’s advanced Conqueror’s Haki coating would be his ace. As seen against King, and previously Kaido, Zoro can imbue his blades with Conqueror’s Haki, allowing him to damage even the strongest foes. Fujitora, while not confirmed to use Conqueror’s Haki, undoubtedly possesses high-level Observation and Armament Haki, and possibly Future Sight. Fujitora could try to end the fight quickly by calling down a meteorite, as he did in Dressrosa. Zoro would need to destroy it midair or redirect it with a massive slash, much like how Law and others have previously dealt with such threats.

However, gravity isn’t just offensive — Fujitora could also use it defensively, bending the battlefield or increasing gravity around himself to slow down Zoro’s attacks. The real challenge for Zoro would be adapting to a constantly shifting battlefield where up and down may change at any moment.

Who Would Win?

If they fought at full strength post-Wano, Zoro might just have the edge, thanks to his Conqueror’s Haki and relentless growth. Fujitora’s gravity is powerful, but Zoro thrives in overwhelming odds. That said, Fujitora is an admiral — meaning his experience and tactical intelligence can’t be overlooked.

In a death match, it would be extremely close. Zoro’s sheer offensive power could break through Fujitora’s defenses, but if Fujitora fully utilized his gravity to incapacitate or trap Zoro early, he could turn the tide. In the end, it comes down to the setting, intent, and how far each fighter is willing to go.

Verdict:
A high-difficulty battle for both. Zoro wins by a small margin, if it’s a 1v1 all-out brawl, but Fujitora could win if he strategically limits Zoro’s movement or uses his power in a more environmental way. Ultimately, it’s one of the most balanced and epic matchups in the One Piece universe.
